On the first day of EWeek, students and faculties unified together to make something very unreal. Today’s celebration witnessed three impactful events namely- Adastraa: the street bazaar, PitchBiz and Blockchain, attended by seven eminent speakers and 250+ students.

The street bazaar was complete with enjoyment, entertainment and din and bustle. There were shops which served scrumptious food and entertaining games and other thrilling activities. The event also saw an unending stream of visitors, which added to the glamour of the event.

PitchBiz was the highlight of the day which witnessed a sweet war for investors’ attention. The top 10 start-ups (out of 84) went through a daunting chain of barriers to reach the platform, presented their ideas before the esteemed panel of fourteen investors and 6 incubators. Their presentation included their background, business model, their staggering USPs (unique selling proposition) their aspirations and future plans.

Deepak Bhaskar of eco-paper products bagged four investors plus AIC incubation from Aartech Solonics, Bhopal. EWeek comes as a reminder that it is all about appreciating the brilliance and courage and the need to celebrate the entrepreneur in you. Other start-ups which stole the limelight were, Luminocity Networks Private Limited, Handlooms World, Garveish Herbaceuticals Private Limited, I1lightening Solutions, Inhof Technologies and Dhundhoo.

The event also saw 35-plus girl students venture entries. A Start-up named Wordly founded by a team of students from SGITS College received appreciation and intent from IncuSpace, Indian Angel Network and Swan Angel Network.
