Have an idea for a business, but have no idea how to get started? The Entrepreneur’s Boot Camp is an intensive program designed to give budding entrepreneurs the tools they need to capitalize on opportunity and turn their idea into a thriving business.
BootCamp to be held from 11th to 13th January by IEM E-CELL in collaboration of Wadhwani Foundation, is an intensive leadership session that brings together many young entrepreneurs from around the city on a common platform to innovate and create new businesses by collaboration. The bootcamp is designed to groom innovations and new ideas into startups. This event provides a platform to interact with the mentors, successful entrepreneurs who are willing to hear what budding entrepreneurs are thinking of and guide them to the right path to making a successful startup.
BootCamp started with the welcome note from our General Secretary of our college-Sreejita Gupta to the judges and the participants. This was followed by the welcome address by Prof. P.K. Banerji who also explained the rules of the session in detail. Then came a session where each and every team pitched their ideas in brief within 5 minutes. Judges not only evaluated the viability of the ideas, they also improved their ideas by giving their valuable inputs on their presentation, business model etc. Among 10 teams, 6 teams were selected for the next round, which was a mentoring session.
