As E WEEK progresses, we can see the passion with which each college is celebrating entrepreneurship at the campus. One such institute is Amity University, Noida. Amity is celebrating Entrepreneurship Week in an interesting manner, which involves both celebrations and the sensitization of entrepreneurship.
The main events of Amity University on 14th of February were the ‘International Conference on Entrepreneurship’, ‘B-Plan’ and ‘Startup Expo’. The flow of the events showcased not only the upcoming entrepreneurs but also emphasized on the backend efforts taken by the campus to make the event a huge success.
The International Conference on Entrepreneurship saw various business professionals and entrepreneurs, alike. Additionally, there were 21 participants in the B-Plan competition, 8 of whom were students from across the country, while 13 of them were from Delhi and NCR. Participants of the B-Plan competition presented some fantastic business plans for the jury to assess and the students to ponder upon.
The Startup Expo witnessed various student and alumni startups who got the chance to showcase their models and prototypes. In a conversation with the faculty regarding entrepreneurship on campus, they stated that MSME, NSIC and WF NEN are playing a significant role in promoting Entrepreneurship on campus.
“Courses for Entrepreneurship are not only open for business students but also for each of the 37,000 students on campus. We are currently also setting up a Design Centre and manufacturing Centre at the University to promote Entrepreneurship,” said Dr Sanjeev Bansal, Director, Amity Business School
